Accommodations

On the Island:

With no hotels and no cars on the island, Bald Head Island is a truly unique place to get away. While there are bed and breakfast’s (The Marsh Harbour Inn and The Inn at Bald Head Island), most accommodations are either rental homes or villas. Most rentals include at least one golf cart and in some cases more. Renting a house with a group of people can be a lot of fun and also helps reduce cost. If you are interested in finding other guests to share a house with, please let us know. We’re great matchmakers! Some rental companies offer a discount if you mention that you are coming to the island for a wedding.

Bed & Breakfasts on the Island:

The Marsh Harbor Inn is the closest thing to a hotel on the island and consists of individually owned rooms and suites that are available for rent. The Inn is located right at the marina. You may be able to find more available rooms by contacting them directly, as not every room is listed on the website.  Website: www.marshharbourinn.com For questions and reservations, please call (910) 454-0451 or fill out this form on their website.

The Inn at Bald Head Island artfully placed in the heart of the Harbor Village, the Inn offers 10 unique bedroom suites each with their own full bath.  The interior is a beautiful blend of West Indies and Coastal Carolina Décor, featuring hardwood floors and elegant fabrics throughout.  Eight of the ten rooms are located in the main house with two rooms in separate crofter cottages.  A handicap equipped suite featuring a king bed is located on the first floor.  The second floor offers a sitting area and five suites with king beds.  On the third floor are two suites, one with a queen and daybed, the other with a king bed.  All suites in the Inn have flat screen tv’s and balconies with lovely views of the harbor, and easterly facing rooms have a view of Old Baldy Lighthouse.  Adjoining the main house are the two individually accessed crofter cottages each containing two twin beds (convert to king), a full bath and porch sitting area.  As a guest you will enjoy daily continental breakfast, afternoon hors d’oeuvres and refreshments in the main dining hall.  Bicycles, beach chairs and beach umbrellas are complimentary with your stay.  The Inn at Bald Head Island is proud to offer exclusive adults-only accommodations and is a pet-free environment.
